The all-electric replacement for asphalt pavers.

Epot 100/300/500

Epot is an electrically controlled bitumen boiler, specially designed for melting and heating modern bituminized rubber-based compounds (hot-melt) used in structural roofing and waterproofing systems.

Epot comes in several sizes and is designed with a focus on efficient operation. It has fast heating and melting, combined with user-friendly and precise control features. Unlike gas-powered boilers, Epot eliminates the risk of overheating and fire. Even when empty, it remains safe.

The connections heat up quickly and evenly. Built-in software ensures that the temperature stays precisely within the manufacturer's recommendations. This provides a stable and quality-assured result, without the risk of vapor ignition or temperature-related errors.

Equipped with multiple safety features that protect both the user and the material, Epot delivers fast and efficient performance while being energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Three sizes for different needs

The Epot series comes in three variants: Epot 100 with 100 liter capacity for small and tight areas, Epot 300 with 300 liters for medium-sized surfaces, and Epot 500 with 500 liters for larger applications and extensive projects.

Emission-free operation

All models are fully electric and require no gas or open flame, providing a safer workplace and zero emissions during use.

Fast heating

Epot heats the contents quickly so that work can start quickly and without unnecessary waiting.

Precise temperature control

A built-in control system ensures that the compound is always heated and maintained at a preset and consistent temperature throughout use, ensuring optimal performance and quality.

High melting capacity

The Epot 500 can deliver up to four liters of molten mass per minute, while the Epot 100 delivers up to two liters. This provides efficient progress in all projects.

Visual temperature indicator

A red LED indicator shows the current temperature of the compound and clearly informs the user when the material is ready for use.

Self-cleaning interior coating

An integrated non-slip coating on the inside prevents carbon build-up and makes cleaning easier and faster.

Sleep mode for reduced startup time

A separate standby function makes it possible to lower the temperature for longer periods, for example overnight, so that the unit is quickly ready for use the next day.

SAFETY FEATURES

The Epot series has been designed with safety as an integral part of the design. The outer tank is encapsulated, eliminating the need for large drip trays under the entire machine. The melt chamber is positioned at waist height for easy and safe filling, while reducing the risk of splashes and burns.

All external surfaces stay cool during use thanks to highly effective insulation, and clear neon lights indicate when the machine is in operation. The heating output can be precisely controlled, and preset temperature limits prevent overheating of the material.

The machine is connected with a single power cable, without the need for gas cylinders or heavy lifting. On the larger models, a certified lifting bracket is also integrated, making it easy and safe to lift the unit by crane.

Epot is easy to maneuver on site, with a wheel system that combines fixed wheels and brakes for stability and control. And because the system is fully automated, there is no need for a separate operator to monitor the process or handle gas – reducing both risk and resource use.

Power requirements and connection information for Epot 100/300/500

Epot is designed for efficient and safe operation with powerful three-phase power connections.
In Europe it requires 415 volts, three phase, either 32 amps or 63 amps. For use in Canada and the USA 480 volts three phase with the same amperage selection applies. Ground and neutral are required and the unit is connected via a standard five-pin plug.

The power consumption is 28 KVA (22 kW per hour), and this only applies during active operation. When the unit is not in use, it draws minimal power.
The control panel comes fully equipped with an integrated 32A male plug, and a 20 meter extension cable is included for easy connection to the mains power supply. If longer range is required, additional 20 and 40 meter extension cables are available for purchase or rental.

To protect against external power fluctuations, a monitoring relay is built into the control panel. Epot itself checks that the power supply is correctly connected and will not start until everything is correctly configured. A qualified electrician should always be consulted when setting up the power supply to ensure proper installation.
On construction sites without permanent electricity, it is recommended to use a 30 KVA generator with a five-pin 32 amp plug (red and white type). If the generator has a 64 amp output, adapters are available for connection to the 32 amp cable.
